Happy December. (Somewhat obviously) new posts were absent from the site, due to a crowded schedule (travel, sports, etc.). I have snow in my area, so new photos will soon get added to the Winter Gallery. For my post this week, I decided to add 3 new photos to the site and feature those photos. Two of the photos are from the Winter Gallery, and one is from the Scotland Gallery. The two from the Winter Gallery are new photos taken specifically for the Gallery, and the photo from the Scotland Gallery is a photo I took over a year ago but just didn't upload it to the site.
The first photo I took on a walk on a cold December morning. New snow fell overnight and it looked beautiful. More snow fell the next night, but I wasn’t able to get a picture of it, unfortunately.
The stats for this photo will look the same as most of the other photos I take (I don’t change my camera settings much).

This next photo I took on the same day as the previous photo. I took it woods near my house.
Again, similar stats here.

This last photo was taken on the top of a mountain near Glencoe, Scotland. It looks similar to a few others in the Scotland Gallery, but I still think it stands out due to its particularly sharp, craggy mountains.

I apologize again for missing two posts in a row. I try and get them out on time, but Tiny Explorations, while a project important to me and one I enjoy spending time on, I still view it more as a hobby than a super serious, full time site. In short, it just doesn’t always get my full attention, hence minimal upgrades to the site in recent weeks. It is still a project I love to spend time on, and I have projects I am working on to publish to the site, so keep your eyes peeled :).
I’m always open to suggestions, comments, feedback, and criticism. Feel free to send any of these in an email to
